Managing the FCC Forms 499
A delegated user (also called an authorized user), with permission to access the FCC Form 499-A or FCC Form 499-Q, can prepare the form. But only the Company Officer can certify the form. The Company Officer manages the delegated users on the account.
The preparer (listed in Block 2 of the FCC Forms 499-A/Q) and Company Officer can prepare the form. Only the Company Officer can certify the form. The preparer can request invoice copies, account histories, and other information related to the FCC Form 499 Filer ID.
The Company Officer can view, prepare, and certify the FCC Form 499-A and FCC Form 499-Q. The Company Officer can establish authorized users (also called delegated users) who can prepare the form on their behalf.
