All carriers participating in Connect America Fund (CAF) programs with defined broadband build-out obligations are subject to verification reviews to confirm deployment to a random sample of locations reported in the High Cost Universal Broadband (HUBB) portal. The verification review process ensures that carriers are using CAF support to deliver high-speed Internet access that meets mandated network performance standards to required location counts by relevant milestone deadlines in unserved and underserved communities eligible for funding. Carriers should be prepared to submit documentation that serves as evidence of deployment for each HUBB record selected for review.
