Responding to Information Requests

USAC will review all submitted applications using the processes outlined in the FCC’s Report and Order and Order on Reconsideration (FCC 21-39) before making recommendations to the FCC about funding awards. Although there is no specific timeline for the review process, USAC will work to complete its comprehensive review as quickly as possible to help health care providers respond to the pandemic.

During the review process, USAC may have questions related to the eligibility of the applicant or the lead HCP, need additional information to verify the cost or eligibility of the services and connected devices listed on the application, and/or need additional information to verify the application evaluation metrics. Application reviewers will reach out to the contacts identified on the application with these questions through the application portal and by email.

HCPs should provide timely responses to those inquiries – funding will not be awarded to ineligible entities or for ineligible products, and reviewers must verify the application evaluation points to award them to an application. Funding awards will be provided to the applications with the highest scores until funding is exhausted.
