High Cost Tools:
Site Visit Mission
USAC's Site Visit Outreach Initiative was developed to give USAC insight into how companies across America are managing and making use of Universal Service Fund (USF) support. This will allow USAC to better administer the USF. In particular, these visits will help USAC:
- Gain an understanding of how companies interact with USAC, including how carriers leverage consultants and/or other parties to manage their USF support.
- Identify best practices to share with other program participants.
- Identify examples of how companies are leveraging USF support to provide affordable telecommunications service to their customers.
- Solicit suggestions on ways for USAC to improve its outreach and education efforts.
- Educate companies on the USAC resources available to help them better manage USF support.
