Biography of Edwin H. Eichler
Edwin H. Eichler is president and chief executive officer of Pigeon Telephone Company in Michigan, a position he has held since 1988. Pigeon Telephone Company serves approximately 4000 customers in four exchanges. Various companies associated with Pigeon provide wireline, wireless, and internet service provider services. Mr. Eichler has worked for Pigeon Telephone Company since 1972 following a short career as an educator and after obtaining a degree in speech from North Central College, Naperville, Illinois in 1969.
Industry experience includes chairman of the Organization for the Promotion and Advancement of Small Telecommunications Companies and for the Michigan Exchange Carriers Association and Telecommunications Association of Michigan, as well as many more committee assignments with these and other communications organizations. Mr. Eichler has testified before the FCC, the Michigan Public Service Commission, and the Michigan Legislature on telecommunications issues.
